beTravelwise supports Global G.L.O.W. as their international travel resumes in 2023

Global G.L.O.W. is a non-profit organisation that creates and operates innovative programs to mentor girls to advocate for themselves and make their communities stronger. Running since 2012, they partner with over 60 mission-aligned schools, community centres and NGOs that work directly with girls in vulnerable communities to address their unique, real-time needs, operating in more than 30 countries and across the United States. In 2023, over 17,000 girls were enrolled in Global G.L.O.W. out-of-school programs.

With international travel resuming again in 2023 Global G.L.O.W. approached beTravelwise to see if we could enrol their travellers on a range of our courses to make them as prepared as possible prior to a variety of trips, including attending the Women Deliver Conference in Rwanda in the summer.

As the risks vary widely across the destinations they will be travelling to, their travellers have been enrolled onto 4 of our courses. Travel Wise, our flagship foundation course; Health Wise that deep dives into travel health and medical issues, including malaria awareness; Incident Wise that looks at how to react to more serious incidents that one may encounter in higher risk locations; and, My Travel Wise, our course that looks at personal risk and how to ensure your personal safety.
